Founder And CEO
Russ was born and raised in Columbia, MO. At the age of 12 his mom moved to a farm in Clark, MO. Russ attended high school in Centralia, where he participated in football and wrestling. During his senior year Russ joined the Army reserves and began drilling on weekends. During that time he earned a promotion to E2 before he left for basic training. Russ served 8 years as a (91R) food inspector. After his return home from his army training, Russ enrolled at Kemper Military Academy. Russ attended classes for one year until he bought his first business, The Axle Shop. Russ owned and operated this business for seven years, before selling it to one of his employees in 2004. Russ began building his first home in 2003, and has since built more than 300 homes, commercial buildings and multi-family units. Russ is a family man; he has been married to his wife, Andrea, since 1997. Russ is a proud father of two sons, Grant and Graden. Russ’s hobbies include attending church at Grace Bible, spending time with his family, cooking, and golf.
Brian is a Missouri native, born in Marshall, MO. Raised in Prairie Village, KS. Brian returned home to Missouri and moved to Columbia in 1998, where he graduated from Hickman in 2001. After graduation Brian attended classes at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA, there he completed his degree in laser/electro optics. Upon graduation in 2004, Brian began his professional career with Northrop Grumman, in Orlando, FL, as a range finder programmer and process designer. After three years Brian felt the need for a career change and returned to Columbia, where he began work for a local real estate developer, David Atkins. Brian’s responsibilities included insurance policy review, financing and re-financing of large real estate investments, and property management. Brian began his career with Anderson Homes in January of 2010 when he took over as our business manager. Brian has proven to be a valuable partner in our company’s success. Brian is married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley, since 2011 and they welcomed their daughter, Madison, into their lives in 2013. Brian’s hobbies include golf, attending sporting events, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Ken was born and raised in Columbia, MO. At the age of 13 his mom moved to a farm in Clark, MO. Ken attended high school in Centralia where he attended the building trades program at the Mexico vo-tech school. Upon graduating high school, Ken worked for Kerry Bramon remodeling and design for the summer before joining the United States Marine Corps. Ken served in the Marine Corps for four years, 2 of which he served in the Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team (F.A.S.T.) company.
After completion of 4 years of service and obtaining the rank of (E5) Sergeant of Marines, Ken retuned back home to mid Missouri. Ken attended the Law Enforcement Training Institute (L.E.T.I.) at the University of Missouri, where he became a certified police officer. Ken served his community for 15 years as a police officer before deciding to join his brother Russ Anderson and the Anderson Homes family. Ken is married to his beautiful wife Crystal, he has two children, Klayton and Kathryn and three step children Kaitlyn, Gavin and Addisyn.
Jonathan was born and raised in Central Missouri. At a young age, he moved to a farm in Clark, MO. Jonathan graduated from Sturgeon High School, where he enjoyed participating in golf. After high school, Jonathan moved to Springfield, MO where he studied culinary arts. After moving back to Columbia, Jonathan started working at the American Red Cross where he enjoyed an eight-year career. In this time Jonathan found his passion for helping people with finances. He enjoys reading finance books and immerse himself in all things money. Jonathan married his wife Jordan on May 30th, 2009. He enjoys technology, traveling, sports, and shooting bows and guns. Jonathan and Jordan welcomed their first child, Oliver, in April 2016.
Joshua Dean Landis (JD) is a Missouri native, born in Columbia and raised in Centralia. JD was active in sports throughout his childhood, mostly playing baseball and football. After graduating high school, JD spent nearly five years in the US army as an infantryman. During his enlistment, JD was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Irwin, California; Baumholder, Germany; and had a six month deployment to Macedonia/Kosovo during the Kosovo Campaign. After honorably discharging from the army in 2001, JD attended the University of Missouri law enforcement program (LETI). JD served several communities as a police officer for 12 years. During his law enforcement career, JD was an instructor and a field training officer (FTO) and enjoyed teaching and training officers. In 2012, JD became a certified real estate agent for Century 21 and was a part time agent until accepting a full time position for Anderson Homes in 2014. JD has a variety of tasks he does for Anderson Homes. JD is a laborer, a project manager and the warranty manager. JD & Russ met their freshman year in high school. With many things in commons, JD and Russ struck up a friendship. JD has been an Anderson family friend for over 25 years. JD is married to his wife, Laura, and they have four daughters: Kyleigh, twins Khloe & Karli, and Kenzie. JD is a family man and enjoys spending time coaching his daughters in their sporting activities.
Lindsey Braik has lived in Columbia, MO since 2009. Lindsey is originally from St. Charles, MO where she attended Lindenwood University. In 2006, Lindsey graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. After Graduation, she went to work for Porlier Outdoor Advertising handling all the company's finances. In 2009 Lindsey moved to Columbia, MO and became a stay at home mother, until she came to work for Anderson Homes in September 2016. Lindsey has been married to Dan since 2005 and they have two children. Outside of work Lindsey enjoys being with her family, and the outdoors.
